* As with most research, it is not possible to guarantee what can be achieved; but for £350.00 it is usually possible to trace one branch of the family back to the 1700s in the first phase of research.

 

 

Research Checklist

 

Please give us all the information that you have about your ancestry. It is often a good idea to ask around your family to see what else is already known. We would not wish duplicate existing family knowledge or undertake any unnecessary searches or repeat those made previously. Information could include names, maiden surnames, and dates and places of births, marriages and deaths. However, if you can supply any other information regarding your family history, such as occupations, professions or religion, this could be helpful to our research. If you do not know very much it does not necessarily matter too much: if necessary, we can start our research with just your own date and place of birth.

 

Which side or branches of your ancestry would you like us to research? If no preference is given we will research your direct male line (your father’s surname).

 

If research is required for some specific event such as a birthday or anniversary, let us know. The first stage of research should usually be completed in 12-14 weeks.
